Right.
I'll be making my way to see them at both the Great Escape and Field Day festival - obviously between now and then there's room for a lot of exposure... but just to get an idea of how packed it's going to be at Field Day.. how packed was it at Camden Crawl?
How many of you are going to see them at the Great Escape?
in da guardain
today they said it was packed out and that "they already sound full figured enough to step into U2`s shoes"
i assume thats a compliment...
i dunno about that
on the basis of seeing them at scala, i'd say more simple minds. i'd prefer them without the smoke machine.
*performs a little cough to prime time user time*
or something
they're potentially a VERY good band.
anyone that compares them to U2 is an idiot.
Are this the lot
that used to be Fear of Flying?
yes
they are indeed!
haha no fucking way???
a band that used to be FoF are now The Big Tips For Being The Biggest Band On Earth?
i saw them at frog in 2005 or so and wrote a list of reasons why they sucked on a napkin and gave it to them at the end.
they found my myspace and thanked me for the advice
AND NOW THEYRE GOING TO BE FAMOOS????
I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW MANY TURNED UP
JEESOOS.
p.s
for what reasons do i suck?
low self esteem?
i'll work on that
and make a comeback in a years time.
i expect my napkin in the post
Lykke Li
Anyone who saw this missed out on Lykke Li at underworld. Terrible venue, amazing gig.
Agreed
That was bloody lovely.
I have to say
The first time I saw them at the Moshi Moshi club night I was super impressed. And there was no smoke machine! I wanted to see them again at the Crawl and I was blown away...they really are good. Although I would never say they were U2 I would be more inclined towards Joy Division, Depeche Mode.
