Should I Stay (home) Or Should I Go see Caribou/Fuck Buttons (in LA I add... for you Brits who might think they're missing out on something). Where I like both these bands, I find their brand of music can be a bit boring live... you know what I mean... whaddaya think? I'm feeling lazy... unless they're spectacular live in which case... I'm not feeling as lazy!

Caribou are really good live
full live band, 2 drummers. I really enjoyed it.
And Fuck Buttons are just great, so I reckon you should go. It'll be a crackin' night.

Are Caribou still on the tour?
I heard they pulled out and Fuck Buttons are going it alone... They're certainly not on the bill of the NYC Mercury Lounge show, I saw the poster while watching ThevConstantines there last week...
I thought
one of the guys from caribou's live band smashed himself up so they cancelled? That's what happened with the UK tour anyway...

Both Caribou
and Fuck Buttons are playing all of the remaining tour dates. Caribou missed two shows when their drummer broke his wrist a few weeks ago but they got a replacement in. Fuck Buttons are headlining The Mercury Lounge show, it's not part of the tour they're doing with Caribou.
I prefer Fuck Buttons live
and Caribou was one of the best live bands I've ever seen.
