I thought Devastations were unbelievably dull, and while I love a lot of Blonde Redhead's material, I still (this is the 3rd or 4th time I've seen them) find it unnerving how much of it is on backing track when they play live.
devastations were wrist slittingly dull, and you couldn't go outside for a fag until 9.15 either so had to stand through it. holy fuck were great, would like to see them again in a sweaty warehouse. blonde redhead were good, especially when she sang. they do need a keyboarder though
were stunning. what was the last song they played? it was AMAZING. at the risk of sounding like a complete tool, you really could feel the music going through you.
devastations were cack and blonde redhead were pretty good, but i was feeling pretty tired so couldn't really enjoy them that much.
didnt stay for blonde redhead, was gonna leave straight after holy fuck (only reason i went) but gave devastations a go, who were alright - seen a lot worse this year. last song of there was pretty good
first band were brilliant although I only saw the last song, second band were tame and wished Blonde Redhead had played for longer. I think they were surprised about curfew and had planned a longer set. Cacophony strobes moment midset was euphoric.
you think?

hmm
yeah the backing track is wierd - especially since some of her vocals are on it - so she can do harmonies with herself...
Blonde Redhead were amazing though, their vibe just works so, so well live. The guitarist is amazing...
Devastations' bass player needs to stop shagging his bass
but ohmyfreakinatheistoverlord How good were Holy Fuck!? :O :O :O.
boo i was going to buy a tshirt and then didn;t. lame.

i love holy fuck
me too
me too
did they do foals - balloons?
i'm pretty sure that was their last song in berlin.
fucking love holy fuck
I thought they were incredibly inconsistent
Some of it was pretty poor (mostly the male-vocal tracks) and some of it was stunning (the new track and 23 in particular).
Holy Fuck were awesome, great fun.
Devastations were woeful. Seriously one of the dullest bands I've ever seen, and some of the cheesiest lyrics ever.
