Yeah, they're alright as long as the chick wearing them has a tight body.

Too many ill advised legging based outfits are doing the rounds attached to girls with way too much junk in their respective trunks.

and tights are better

as someone who hasn't worn trousers in about 4 months, i find that i much prefer tights. i don't wear leggings any more, but i used to a lot. i think tights flow better, with an outfit. like liquid. leggings just stop suddenly at the ankle, tights flloooww into feet. i'm starting to sound like prole or creakyknees i know but trust me it's only because i got two hours sleep last night.

to summarise: leggings are okay but tights are better and anything is better than trousers.

As long as it's paired with nice shoes.

but the footless tights with nice slip on shoes are pretty much the most attractive thing ever

A short skirt with flesh coloured tights is so much classier. Brightly coloured tights are better still, though that look has rather less of the Carnaby Street esque edge the first one does.

i got good legs though, i can carry them off.

for over 2 years now... and 99% of the time wear tights. but leggings have their function; they're thicker and you can wear them under a long top/short dress without flashing anyone. tights are better though.

This isn't what the question requested of me, but the point has to be made.

stop just below the knee/half way down the calf are awful. Full length ones are okay. I tend to wear tights.
