I mean I could do this of course but the fundamental problem is I don't actually want to do management and PR for bands.
It's just that I seem to essentially be managing my own band at the moment 'cos we don't have a manager and probably need a little guidance. It's hopefully not gonna be a long-term thing 'cos it really isn't my forte but obviously the more guidance I can get on managing us the right way myself the easier it'll be to get us in a position where the right person wants to take the job off my hands...
but in a iron fist in a velvet glove way. This is the ideal approach, no softly softly. If some cunt can't be arsed to see your band get him to either say he thinks your shit or he's too lazy and coked up to see a band he's not been tipped off about or to have the balls to come and see you and say either 'youre shit' or 'I like that and will do my best to get you signed'
you gots to write your own, innit
learn from your mistakes and note where others are succeedng and failing
I don't want to!
