I'm usually against 'more' production
but the vocals just sound so brilliant, and like the different peaks and troughs of the song are emphasised so perfectly.
that's true
the sound at the beginning is a lot more effective though, as is the slide down the neck of the guitar.
it's better than fine, but i want to hear a better quality and final version to see if the guitar is meant to be that loud compared to the vocals.

everyone on their promo list seems to be showing off about it and I haven't received one yet? I gave away ten of my hard-earned English to that band last night for a T-shirt that's too small and everything.

Well, only odd insomuch as next to nobody turned up (well, it's Leicester, I expect that) and the football was on upstairs, but even after that only about three people showed up. As a lot of the others there were in the other bands I don't fancy the chances of the JoFo/Danan/Ox Eagle Lion Man Sumo date in June.
Stood next to Lea, though, which is something. And yeah, not the greatest support, but then they're not the most actively offensive local band I've seen too often in support slots.

Needless to say, i own all of JoFo's releases bar the very old ones, and purchasing the album is at the number one spot on my "things to do on June 2nd" list.

this album
is magical. the rerecordings are so surprisingly brilliant, you'd think that they'd lose so much from the demos, but they seem to have built on every song so much. stood up to expectations, to say the least.
p.s. their tour shirts are definitely undersized! i have myself a particularly tight one, too. :(
