according to the website
they have cancelled. sale only, from 10am, and i'm working. WOE.
I saw tilly and the wall play there twice
:( at its closing
despite having lived in the vicinity
for most of the last four years, i've been to one instore there. and it was nine black alps,.
they're moving to
bigger premises in more central location though. which is good!
NOT FOR EVERYONE
:P
Other than Pure Groove and Rough Trade x 2
what other good indies are there in London these days?
I don't mind second hand places or specialist Bulgarian trance emporiums hidden in the attic above a wholefood shop or anything. Just good independent places with all of the new stuff by the bands that 'people like us'* would be interested in?
*Cunts.
That was supposed to read 'I don't mean'
Sister Ray's all right
on berwick street
sister ray
banquet in kingston
um
so like
is this worth going to or should i just stay at home and do my essay then watch chelsea vs manyoo?
it doesn't actually mention a sale
I'm going in hope though:
IMPORTANT NEWS - Pure Groove is moving to Farringdon in June. The current shop will be closing on Sat 26th April. On that day, we'll be having an amazing day of music and DJs. SAT 26th APRIL - 10am till last item sold! Unfortunately The Virgins have had to cancel due to travel problems but we'll still be rocking all day from 10am! BUT... BUT Jeremy Warmsley is playing at 3pm!
the original update said
they're having a big clearout. how they expect to sell everything in the shop without reducing anything i'm not sure ;)
