assemblage

deluxe version ,12in life in tokyo..find tin drum overrated.

i like

Gentlemen take Polaroids and exorcising ghosts!

my mum just gave me oil on canvas

it was a posthumous live record i think
it has a lot of their biggest songs on it
and it sounds pretty neat

Tin Drum

absolutely

Japan were awesomeness

I like the early glam stuff. Canna go wrong with Adolescent Sex or Obscure Alternatives (esp this). After this Sylvian thinks he can sing and they get all eno-ish. Gentlemen Take Polaroids is well cool. Methinks these albums were more late 70s but I could be wrong.

Japan s/t

But if you need remastered quality go for "Tin Drum"

David Sylvian

had some good solo stuff in about the mid 80's but all I can remember about them is that I liked them.

assemblage first

then
tin drum = archetypal
quiet life = durandurany
gentlemen take poalroids cooler
then the earlier glam phase obscure alternaitives, s/t
