I seriously love him. What I loved was the fact that everyone was tossing over Get Free and Outtathaway and wanted an album full of those screamfest boredom inducers.

But instead of taking the easy way out to express himself during his breakdown (ie. screaming and swearing and crying), he pretty much did what hardly anyone wanted him to do and embraced psychedelia and nature - probably the most unfashionable thing to do at the time for a band who was so wanked over in the NME and in those MTV circles.

New album out soon, which I hope goes back to the love and leaves behind the FUCKTHEWORLDs and RIDEs of past years. That third album was a bit gay but again, his true genius shone through in the psychedelicness.
