Mine's probably Do You Karate by Fight Like Apes, think it's a year old or so, maybe older. It's safely one of the greatest tracks i've ever had the pleaure of listening to.

You only broke my heart, let my heart and legs stay strong,
So I could swim upon the open sea,
Searching for another love, floating along endlessly......"

I wanna be you boyfriend by The Rubinoos, a 70's powerpop classic and generally perfect pop song. Avril Lavigne got in a spot of bother recently for ripping it off wholesale in her track Boyfriend.
Another one is Don't Get Upset by Jeffrey Lewis, which is just pure gorgeousness.
You Belong

Summer in a leaked box.
!!! -
intensify. great to get you in the mood for a night out
Herbie Hancock - Sly
been rekindling my love for Head Hunters recently, particularly with this classic jazz-funk odyssey. It starts with the baddest groove known to man, the drums dancing around the beat perfectly, before dropping into a slightly more spaced out section and then heading off in another groove which gradually rises in the skronk level. When it's reached meltdown point in the noisy jamfest it then drops out again and brings you back to the epically funky riddim from the beginning. BADD
oh yeah wow
I love that record. I might dig that out later as a warm up to my night out to a jazz gig.
you definitely should

What about Sun Goddess by Ramsey Lewis

These points balance
by Gregor Samsa. Dreamy soundscape, breathless vocals and that oh-so-slow tempo make my heart ache.

i think alopecia is the greatest album of all time. don't you all agree?
yes you all do
the flaming stars...
...the day the earth caught fire..
It is the greatest, defeatest, drunken abandoned song of all time... a deadly song to wheel out as the coffin rolls towards the incinerator...

Shellac - Watch Song

She Sends Kisses by Thd Wrens
.
air - highschool lover
I saw them play at the Buffalo Bar.
I thought they were a bit of a let down tbh. They seemed to try and fool the audience by pretending that they didn't know what song they would play next. They pretended to discuss it on stage, and then they launched into the chosen song. It was an obvious that they had rehearsed the situation.
Best song atm

Gary
Right now it'd have to be M83 - Graveyard Girl
- it's like being the invisible member of the Breakfast Club. Achingly gorgeous.
Also very fond of Goldfrapp - A&E of late, I think a lot of people will be changing their minds about Seventh Tree by the end of the year.
