Is anyone else watching the amount of replies that this thread and the '5 things that annoy you' thread as some kind of race? The 'annoying things' thread will win, I reckon, although I wish it wouldn't.
Yup, I'm purposely not posting in the negative thread, cos today I am positive man, just did 20 laps of the swimming pool, and now I'm off to apply for a job and eat a banana.
Accentuate the positive! Who needs a girlfriend, you my friend are footloose, and fancy-free! Scotch eggs are full of stuff that will kill you, so good ridance to them! If some do come into your life it'd be nice, but we're not gonna dwell on that now are we.

13. Worrying that you sound like a self-help book, but not caring.
Fucking hell Brainlove, those first two are spot on. Especially the first one. If I didn't have to walk for a mile in the morning to get to work my day would start a whole lot worse.
Also, its right cheesy but making my mates laugh always pleases me and also taking an interest in what they do. My best mate has just had an exhibition and it was ace... I couldn't have been happier if it was my own.
i also have to walk about a mile in the morning to get to work. :)
i love it, its along the river, and even when its raining its still really lovely.
i don't like it when the other people i work with stop and give me a lift.
In my last job i had to walk down oxford canal to get there. every morning I'd bring a few slices of bread and slowly fed them to the ducks following by my side. By the end of the walk There were about a million ducks following me like some kind of super duck army. It was awesome
Mine was a walk to Next in York at 6am every day. It was so cold and dark in the winter, but I was listening to Sparklehorse's "It's a Wonderful Life" a lot on my minidisc player at that time, and sometimes there would be a pretty mist and I would get to walk through the ancient city walls as the sun rose and the sky would be all pink, and it would be quiet and deserted except for the street sweepers and a few cars. And every time I listen to that album now I feel cold and remember seeing my breath and walking carefully over frozen puddles at dawn.
I used to walk through Cambridge when it was dark and listen to Slowdive or Interpol, had although I seemed to hate it at the time, I really miss it now.
