Shakin' Stevens? Amazing.
Holy Fuck? Amazing.
Panic Headling...?

Got really bored halfway through reading that
So is probably right.
Some okay stuff on that Park stage though.
Pete Doherty
won't be there for obvious reasons
Some of that is wrong, I think
I'm sure Brian Jonestown self confirmed for the Friday...
thats very meh
with the exception of battles, holy fuck and a few more
Meh...
It's really no better or worse than previous years. Once the Jazzworld, Glade etc are added there will be plenty of stuff to see.
I can't believe people on efestivals are saying they're going to get their tickets refunded.
People on efestivals are idiots
Whilst the news and rumours of the site continue to be brilliant, the quality of the forums has fallen off the cliff in recent times
i will still go
but some of that is laughable last year friday other stage was arcade fire and bjork and this year the enemy and panic at the disco!
Why do they want their money back?
That is a better line up than last year by a mile.
Actually that is probably why isnt it?
^ having just read carpets post ^I
I realise this is a little inaccurate. Please ignore. He/she is right.
It's probably as accurate
as that Reading 'leaked' line-up.
It's not the full one
It's close, but there's plenty missing even on just the stages mentioned
loads better than last year
fact.
BOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGG
Sunday
on the main stage must be a piss take?
shakin stevens
on the saturday.. good times
it has quite a few good acts but not those stand out acts they have had on previous years
How are the ticket sales going?
Cant see this tipping the balance particularly.
And they wonder why tickets aren't selling?
The main stage is awful,
but the rest is pretty damn ace.
Main stage
is normally quite awful but I was still hoping for something more to get excited about. Still can't wait though
Surely Manu Chao isn't popular enough
to play that high up
Amongst a Glastonbury crowd maybe
He's headlined the Jazzworld stage before
and opened the main stage the next day
Would this be
Someone trying to piece together assumptions based on bands that have confirmed their appearances, or are rumoured to have done?
Right about eFestivals though, whoever said that. The idiot count on there is staggering.
Having said all this, if half of the above is true then I fail to see how people couldn't find plenty to watch. Biffy and The Futureheads on one night? Yes please.
oof
only sunday on the park stage would be worth viewing..if that is anywhere near true ...
This looks pretty shit
But, of course, should be taken with a litre of salt
Does salt come in litres?
It comes in salt cellars
Ho ho!
I am tempted to sell my ticket
and go to latitude. :S
the main stage
is scheduled for television coverage surely, you couldn't get more commercial than that if you tried - V Festival must be weeping into its flat watered down cola...
My favourite section is def:
Groove Armada
The Zutons
The Pigeon Detectives
Mark Ronson
Scouting For Girls
Jack Penate
Newton Faulkner
Fuck me that is suicide inducing. But well Glasto. The ladies with pink sparkly stetsons and angel wings are going to love it!
Hang on
that's the second stage! Take that people who say, "oh ignore the mainstage". That is even shitter!
I love that someone on efestivals picks that as the best part of the line-up.
Strong.
You can't sell it
because it has a picture of your face on it.
You can however get a refund
Sounds like
Reading.
Just with added filler for the oldies.
And no Rage against the Machine.
its in this months Q magazine
So prob true.
Last three bands on sat seocnd stage and last three bands on Sun Main stage would make it for me.
Generally rubbish though.
better than last year
but im off to glastonbudget.
Also...
nice to see The Verve festival whoring it up this Summer.
I'm amazed that The Hold Steady can feature on Saturday
Given they're playing in America on both Friday and Saturday nights!
You clearly dont understand time differences
Oh
Eugene MacGuininess?
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
looks like sunday is
End of the road/ Greenman day over at the Park stage,... and pity poor black mountain having to be first on to that shower...
Nothing there that makes me regret not going
and choosing Werchter instead. There are a few decent acts and it would be fairly easy to find someone to watch most of the time, but doesn't have any big draws for that price.
Rocket Summer?
As in the pop-tastic THE rocket summer?
thats what I am curious about
& The Stars, surely that's Stars, right?
Leonard Cohen? Holy shit.
Otherwise, pass.
Wonder if they
will remember to turn the PA system on at the mainstage this year....
wow
i really am tempted to go now!
shakin' stevens, james cunt, jack penis-te, newton fucker.
and i like how the verve are on the sunday, along with all the grandad rock stuff
Good old NME
have it as a 'world exclusive' a good few hours after you posted this.
http://www.nme.com/news/glastonbury/36269
Although it has a few TBCs in where you have people down.
I ought to work for the NME
*cough*
aww man.
spiritualized. i like jason i do :)
Some people just don't get glastonbury
Don't get me wrong, the line up isn't the best, but there is ALWAYS something pretty awesome going on at Glastonbury. Sadly I'm away when it's on this year, but otherwise I would definitely gone to see KOL, Raconeteurs, Elbow, Massive Attack and Mystery Jets for starters...
