Finally got the album at the weekend, even if I did have to pay £15 for it in HMV.
It's ruddy marvellous isn't it?
i think i prefer Young Prayer or whatever its called.... at the moment
I didn't realise there was more than one.
person pitch is really cool though, although £15?...
i've been meaning to get it for ages but didn't fancy forking out the exorbitant cost.
Got a voucher for my birthday, problem solved. On hearing it, I probably wouldn't have minded paying the cash though.
is there not a fopp in london? i guess they have it cheaper maybe...
that el guincho album that people have been talking about sounds a lot like panda bear except with a growly spanish vocalist in place of the floaty beach boys stuff.
not as good, by any means.
Perfect for summer, too.
But £15? I think I got it off Amazon for £5...
.
I got it on Ebay for £2.49
good girl/carrots being particular fantastic.
i must say though, the atlas sound is relatively similar and maybe a bit better. have you heard it?
first album like then in comparison to PP?
but for the most part not that similar. no beats, less harmonies, acoustic guitar on nearly every track.
Minimal acoustic. World away from PP.
simple glitchy folktronica goodness.
second album: deeply emotional perfect acoustic pop.
NOTHING on person pitch I'm afraid!!!!! Well I don't think so. And i sort of fail to see how anyone could think that?!!?!?!?!?
not everyone thinks like you :|
person pitch is my favourite album of last year, and young prayer ain't too bad icons
just to clarify to everyone!!!
PP is def the best though. Love it!!! Prob my fave animal collective based release to be honest.
yes it is. probably my favourite album of 2007.
I fell so badly in love with it.
which album?
i think i prefer Young Prayer or whatever its called.... at the moment
