my girlfriend of 5 years (we were also engaged)thought it was perfectly fine to dump me over the phone. the reason? " i dont want you any more.2 and that was that. and to pour a ton of salt into the wounds. she clealy doesnt give a shit, no emotion whatsoever.
she sounds like the sort of girl you should def not be engaged to then.

Harsh though it sounds it's probably honest.
I mean in a way that's the reason most relationships end (even though people tend to be diplomatic and try and give a softer-sounding reason than that).
And in the long run it's probably better for both you than her staying with you if she wasn't happy. Hopefully in time mrstu'll find someone who appreciates him.

I was thinking about making a thread about this today.
My mind did me a favour last night: it has switched my mind off from fancying a girl (given that she's a lost cause and all) by giving me a special dream. In this dream I was happily going out with this girl, when I discovered that she had mouldy boobs with a mass of thick, black, spiderlike hairs growing out of the underboob area. And when I tried to kiss her there was a big, bright pink flowery infection thing on her tongue.
If I could somehow transfer this dream to other people - Total recall style - I would be a very rich man.

Believe me it does get easier in time - although as a quick update my ex told me a week after she'd dumped me that she had started seeing her boss (she had only worked there a month)!!

I have had to speak to my ex every day for the last 7 weeks(due to sorting out our old flatand various other money stuff) and it makes it 100 times worse - especially as she has moved on to another relationship so quick and im stuck on my own!!
