So yeah this new single is going round'n'round my head. I know it's not brilliant and I heard it on the round table a few months ago and they all slagged it off saying it was the same as their old stuff, but yeah... I think it's good.

I know nothing about James, but on closer inspection they've had a few hits that I liked but didn't know was them.

So basically would it be worth getting a best of or something?

They did a best of in the 90s that was pretty decent as I recall.

I don't love 'em but there's far, far worse bands to own a best of by.

Tomorrow

is the only James song you need.

This best-of is worth getting

The newer compilations have stuff they released since then, which is largely guff.

And it has Tomorrow on it, which as Spunky infers, is their best song.

I wish it was on my mp3 player

I want to listen to it now. I want to be told that my grip is too strong and that I can't catch love with a net or a gun.

I could listen to it right now if I wanted to

Right now I tell you!

Turn it up really loud!

I'll open a window and see if I can hear it!

the first band i was ever obsessed with

the best of is pretty good, got all the obvious 'hits' on is is probably pretty cheap. my favourite albums are the first two though...

artwork

I like all the attention they are getting for the 'outrageous' artwork for the cover of their album. Good PR stunt ;-)

Are they?

The new single is garbage

The best of is fairly decent though. LOVE THE HITS.

And I third/fourth/fifth the comment about Tomorrow being bloody incredible.

Garbage?

Only Happy When It Rains > Stupid Girl.
