i dunno, there;s some alright stuff on,
certainly enough to fill my days i'd say.
battles, black kids, leonard cohen, the brian jonestown massacre, neon neon, jimmy cliff amongst others would be exciting.
I'm going
and I think it will be the nuts!
black kids = tripe
but there is some good stuff. Except spiritualized clashing with Cohen could be nasty.
Battles on the Park Stage will be sweet, as will The National closing the Peel tent. Also Elbow are playing twice which is a bonus
It's not the strongest
But there's still stuff to be added like Los Campesinos, and I've got something to watch at all times, unlike last year
Soz, didn't know Los Camp had finally been added
there's enough to see each day
nothing that exciting bar Cohen, but it's all I need from a Glastonbury line up really, 5/6 bands I wanna see each day and I can have fun/see comedy etc the rest of the time.

I think all the "obvious" festival bands are playing, except arguably The Kooks. It's no surprise that Madonna, Britney, Ashlee Simpson etc aren't playing.
Mainstream music tends to go in waves, 2002-2005 there was an explosion of festival-friendly, crowd pleasing bands like The Killer, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire etc etc etc, not to mention hundreds of bands that sounded like Coldplay!
At the moment, there aren't a lot of new bands that are obvious "Must have" for a festivals, and most of the bands from the 2002-2005 wave have already played more than once, so it might get a bit dull if they keep repeating the same line-ups.
Personally, putting aside the dire state of the Top 40, I think it's an inspired lineup, and more than enough to keep me happy for 4 days.
Meh
I'm only going cos all my friends are, and for Seasick steve, billy bragg, leonard cohen and HERCULES AND LOVE AFFAIR!!!!
And for most of the dance tent, which I always find myself in, dammit.
