Sorry to all who can't view the clip.
Here's the written article:

7-year-old steals car, hits everything in its path

Many 7-year-olds can't reach the pedals.

That wasn't a problem for a Palm Beach Gardens boy, who stole his grandmother's SUV last week.

His driving skills, on the other hand, need some work.

The boy plowed into mailboxes, hit parked cars and signposts - all in about eight minutes.

He kept going until a sign took off the right front wheel.

The boy, who was not hurt, faces grand theft auto charges, but police said it's unlikely he'll be prosecuted.

my daughter is 7.

that's quite scary. she would never DREAM of doing anything like this.

so you think...

just you wait til she gets her hands on a copy of GTA4 and she'll be decking prostitutes, spitting at you and thieveing your car keys in no time!

:D

Mind you what kids wear these days...

I saw a little girl (she must have been about 6) wearing a mini skirt, boots and a mid-rift top and a puff jacket. What are parents doing dressing their kids like that?

I know!

it's disgusting. I have every intetnion of keeping her sweet and naieve for as long as possible. jeans with dresses and cardigans and nice boots is a really cute look for girls :)

Yeah I agree...

I have two younger sisters, the youngest being 11 now and I would never let her out the house in anything revealing.
Kids should be kids.

I

WANNA WHIP HIS BEHIND.

Yeah it is...

Along with Turkeesha,
Shayrondel and Rashonda

Gotta love the Ghetto.

Ha ha ha

Q:"Did you know you could perhaps kill somebody?"
A:"Yes but I wanted to do hoodrat stuff with my friends"

This story reminded me of when a young teenager in Melbourne hijacked a tram and drove it along it's route for 30 km (including picking up and dropping of passengers) before anyone noticed.

Oooh look at ou with your bad self!

Did you at least keep the tram fairs?

*you

Yes I kept them and they haven't caught me yet!

Yesterday I drove a train from Cockfosters to Heathrow Termials 1,2 and 3. Hijacking public transport is fun.

I'll see what I can do

But I'm not making any promises. It is the district line, people have an expectation of it running badly all the time and being closed on the weekends.

Will you wear your Harley shirt too please

and I promise to make the noises and hand gestures

Done and done!

It's not TFL uniform, but I should get away with it if I wear it under one of those obscene neon orange vests.

Fantastic...I am looking forward

It will be a transport treat...Harley shirts and the district line running on time.

What more could a girl ask for?

I'm not sure what else you could ask for

If you asked for anything more it would be borderline greedy.

True...

besides we need to leave some things for our next random encounter.
To keep things interesting.

Very true

Luckily I bought another equally awesome tshirt on ebay yesterday which I can randomly wear for our random encounter :)

I look forward to the randomness

It really is quiet funny.

P.S - when were you in Cape Town?

It's so funny and strange

Usually you meet people from the Internet in real life, not the other way around. I was in Cape Town in March, such a great city! Why do you ask? I guess you saw me there too!

:D nope didn't see you there

but saw your post on 'Profile pics' yesterday and you mentioned Cape Town.

The fact that we bumped into each other twice in three days is the weird thing.

Cape Town is lovely. The people can be a bit much - to involved with their stupid 'Mountain'

Oh ok

Are you South African? I was there for about 3 weeks last month, had so much fun! It was 32 and blue skies the whole time I was in Cape Town, and the night life was really fun too. Except I just found out today my bank card was cloned while I was there and whoever did it has spent £800 of mine on booze and KFC!

KFC!

That's classic.
Good old South African crime.
Always make room for KFC.

I am South African (don't say that too loudly though) You had an accent if I recall.
New Zealand?

Suggesting an Australian is from New Zealand...

is the ultimate insult :'(

I'm so sorry

*hug* ???

Ahh...

Virtual friends again.

:D

He is unbelievable!

"I wanted to do something bad"

People in my old school

once stole a teacher's car keys out her bag and joy-rode it a few blocks until it burned out because they didn't take it past second gear and tried hitting 50mph

:D

expulsion.

sucks to be them

:-|

actually..

:-D which is wrong, I'm an idiot.

Michelle, do some work...

..at some point today

HAHA

Amazing!

And I agree...this is getting a bit addictive!

evidently a hideous DiS faux pas....

..i'm not yet down with the kids ;)

Massive.

That kid is a twat

should be killed now before its too late

I read that as 74yr old.

It MUST have been an automatic right? Else he would have stalled!

Well when asked he does say

"I Just pulled the stick thing down'

So I imagine it was an automatic.

INCREDIBLE!

I love the fact that he moved the car seat to the front.
And the old woman moaning how she has no TV or Radio...the clocks thing threw me a little. Don't they usually run off batteries?
