Chelsea v Liverpool (feeling sick-centric)

I'm going to the Bridge tonight and my emotions are all over the place. I know that come the end of the night I shall be either more deliriously relieved than I have ever been, or possibly physically sick with despair.

It's like being about to go on the hottest date of your life, the dentists and a funeral all at the same time.

I just want it to be over.

Dream scenarios

Chelsea win, terry gets booked.

If liverpool do go through, which I hope they don't, Gerrard and Carragher to get booked.

exactly

or massive riot in Moscow leading to a European ban for one season for English clubs.

Dream scenarios

someone makes a bit of noise.

Both teams actually play some football thats nice to watch.

^this

2nd

It is a dream that I have a lot.

never has come true..

I feel exactly the same..

..and I'm not even going to the game. :)

Chelsea to win one nil

I don't want this but I think it's what'll happen.

im going aswell

and i feel the same, im too nervous to be excited, im just praying we dont let thoise scouse bastards win

liverpool have it wrapped up mate

then united to take it in the final

then i go to the betting shop and pick up my £300!

I am going as well B-)

I will be in west stand lower, where abouts will you be?

seeing as its at stamford bridge

and with law of averages and everything, i reckon chelsea will go through. As a gooner though, I hope Liverpool win (despite the last round) - I can't bear the thought of Chelsea being the the first london club to win the champions league, and arsenal being the only one of the 'big 4' not to have won it...

I can't see anything other than 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Maybe they stifle eachother and Liverpool bag a late winner, but i doubt it. One thing's for sure, it'll not be a classic.

I think Chelsea will win

As much as I hate those tossers, I think it's disgusting the way their fans have treated Grant. Would love for him to win the Champions League then just tell all the fans to go fuck 'emselves.

Last night's game

The highlight : Ronaldo having a go at Zambrotta for diving, a bit like Hitler having a go at someone for being a bit evil

grant (a jew), then hitler

mentioned in the above responses. is racism infiltrating this thread too?
turrible.

Really want Liverpool to go through

just so we can hammer the dippers in the final.

1-1 after 90

Liverpool to win on pens.

Being a Red,

I'm not hopeful, to say the least.

The odds are firmly against us.

I think it could well be 0-0 with Chelsea sitting back.

Its also at the Bridge, but that shouldn't really matter since Chelsea's fans (on the ground) are the armpit of the top four.

Do they even have any songs?

Even so, Chelsea aren't really our rivals so losing to them won't be harsh. It will almost be as if its their turn to have a go, and I won't be bitter or anything.

If they DO beat us, I'd be fully behind them to get the double and really hope they do it.

Yeah they have that one song

Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea...repeat ad nauseum.

dream scenario

massive fight erupts. All the players get sent off and the game is abandoned. The competition becomes a farce in the eyes of the public. People in the UK realise that a good sport (snooker) is on and is much better and the overnight surge in popularity results in them holding the World Snooker final in the middle of the pitch in a Moscow stadium. Ronnie wins with a 147 in every frame.

Snooker is so so bad.

Everyone just supports the best player.

No-one cheers for the fat ones or the ugly ones or the foreign ones.

Its always "GOO ON RONNI LAD!!!!"

Urgh.

that isn't true.

People love Ronnie, that's true, but I'd say most matches are quite evenly supported (aside from when a unkown 17 year old chinese guy is playing).
For instance, my favourite players are Anthony Hamilton and Peter Ebdon.
There's definitely people that root for the underdog.

Saying that, it's no football

anyone got

a stream?

i hope the first half is really really shit

but the second (when i take my dinner break at work) is really really amazingly good. No extra time pls

EVERY time they say skrtel on the radio

I get an image of this guy playing football and do a sad lonely lol to myself.

Not really, doesn't change that much

we still have to score. I just wish we'd wake up.

That doesn't change much

Liverpool still need to score

But now they can't get 1 Up

and then shut up shop, changes the mind set completely

grant picked up a stray ball

gerrard ran into him, knocking him over, and took the ball.
according to le radio anyway.

yesssssssss

drogba is a beautiful man.

also

i'd love to fight steven gerrard. what a twat he is. avram grant could destroy him.

drogba is beatuiful

yet you dislike gerard? how do you manage such idiocy?

oh.. you are a chelsea fan. i see.

drogba is beautiful

how can you suggest otherwise? he has the strength of a rhinoceros and the wit of something very witty. he is a hero.

he is a cheating fuck

im 99% sure you realise this but you are just trying to wind me up

alan green is going to literally spunk all over graham taylor if liverpool score here.

why are commentators allowed to support teams?

GERRARD!!!

YEAAAH!

"Gerrard doesnt usually make that mistake"

variations of which have been heard around eight times today

torres

i thought

you were a spurs fan

^

Even if you thought that

why would you be surprised he's supporting Liverpool against CHELSEA?

London rivalry innit.

wow

the radio five live commentary has to be the most biased i have ever heard, and these comments on Sir Alex Ferguson are hilarious.

It keeps cutting out

I missed the goal :(

isnt doin it for me

"i bet Sir Alex Ferguson is enjoyed a nice glass of wine"...

"well there's Alex in the crowd, watching on"

"if Sir Alex Ferguson was a smoker he'd be smoking a cigar, he doesnt care who man utd play."

thank god i'm not a chelsea fan or a liverpool fan.

or else i might have ridiculously high blood pressure right now.

ABSOLUTELY SODDING BEAUTIFUL

EAT THAT, ABRAMOSCUM.

how long is left?

svechenko=bad influence

we've won

well played.

It was pretty even as a game to be fair. But you were the better team in the end.

perhaps Benitez was resting Torres for the City game on the weekend

will they be fielding a weakened side for that one?

CHELSEA AND ARSENAL

IN 'ACTUALLY GOOD GAME' SHOCKER!

^massive fail

you know who i mean

when the semi draw was made

everyone was rubbing their hands at united vs barca, and bored by the prospect of liverpool chelsea. Turned out the other way round, have never been more entertained by a liverpool chealsea game. The gerrard-grant incident was especially funny.

Would have preferred a Liverpool win though.

Agh. Unbelievable.

First of all, well done to chelsea - they had a lot of the fortune this time around, but Liverpool have done in previous ties. I guess it all comes around, or something like that. I could also mention that Chelsea were superior over both ties - the best team won.

Quite frustrated to be deprived of what'd be the biggest match of my lifetime (I can't think of anything in my 17 years of existence that would have compared) - but the final will nonetheless be an interesting affair, especially with Chelski gunning for the league too.

I'll be supporting Chelsea in the final as I consider them to be a morally superior squad (obviously Drogba and a few others are disguisting), I've always liked Shevchenko (following Ukraine internationally), and I really like Avram - for him to do what Mourinho (*spits*) couldn't really would be amazing.

I just can't believe Liverpool though, it's so cruel, and there's no thrill like following them in the league. I almost wish Babel hadn't've scored because it just makes it so much worse.

And I'm still really frustrated because I think Liverpool were stupid to give it away.

Right, I'm off to go get some ice because my hand is all swollen from punching the wall. I'm obviously really really clever and really really hard.

[also Avram falling down in the first half = :D :D :D]
