Come Down is the best one!

Come Down is great
But I can't forgive them for doing that photo shoot in Anton Newcombe's house in order to bask in the reflected debauchery whilst personally smelling very nice and not being addicted to anything.
I thought that was quite funny.
I don't understand the reverence for Newcombe- his songs leave me cold and he strikes me as a complete cunt.
The first two songs on 'Come Down' are world class rock'n'roll.
Dandy Warhols rock
am a big fan, love all of their albums and my fave is Welcome To the Monkey House and The Dandy Warhols Come Down but i thought the Odditorium album really sucked.
I like the first one and Come Down
Kind of lost interest after that. Some great songs on those two and better than Newcombe has ever done. In my humble...

Their Hometown, Portland, Oregon used to think they were a joke
I doubt they are laughing anymore. Seriiously, Dandy Love in Portland was tantamount to being a street army captain for Britney Spears.
Odditorium was a bit of a gaff tho
One of the best hopelessly inspired by Velvet Underground bands (is what I thought till "Welcome To The Monkey House"- didn't see that one coming.)
