Is it safe?

Do they ever have trouble at this event?

I have read a lot of bad press about the town (Location, Location, Location). Mind you it can't be worse than the rabble that go to the Leeds festival!

can you bring middlesbrough here for the day please?

it looks pretty sweet, though most of the bands i'd want to see clash

Safe as houses.

Times haven't been announced yet so hopefully clashes will be at a minimum...

Re: trouble, I guess I'm biased as I live in Middlesbrough (and work for the festival!) but I've never had experienced any trouble at MML. The festival site has decent security, but obviously with having 50000 people in a relatively small area there will be isolated incidents.

Boro is nowhere near as bad as Location, Location, Location made out though!

Middlesbrough's bad press in undeserved, I think.

I lived there for a year or so, and have been to MML for the last couple of years, and never really seen any problems.

Having the festival fenced off as they did last year seemed to stop the trouble straight off.

I shall be making the trek up, as I think it's a lot stronger a line up than the last few years.

I've gone to this the last years

its usualy a luagh, not seen any trouble and you can go get a parmo if there aint a bad you fancy. I think I will go just to check out Rolo Tommassi again they are ace. I hope the windows wont cave in cos of their beastly noise in the courtyard.

This is on Sunday...

Been a few line up changes, check out www.myspace.com/middlesbroughmusiclive for the latest details.

Should be a good do!

PAAARRRRMMMOOO!

Stupid Leeds not having Parmo, I miss the proper north. This is worth the trip, missed last years but this is a good line-up

this is free?

blimey, for free that's very good!

i guess it's the council using up it's huge budgets after doing fuck all with them all year.
