It was

Owen Pallet doing Joanna Newsom's Peach Plum Pear sends shivers down my spine. It's beautiful.

that song is really good

and owen pallet is really good too

it was

Yo La Tengo - The Crying of Lot G

Pretty much the most perfect love song ever, imo.

For me

Deeper into Movies

Flourescent Grey

when the shimmery flanged (or chorused) out keys and rest of band comes in after third verse- that always gets me.

I love that EP

its really special.

kissing the beehive by wolf parade

I had listened to it a few times and it did little but on my walk back from uni I had it played loud on my ipod and it blew me away. I started shaking with a desire to dance but well I would have looked odd.

the first song on the new elbow album

just before the 'tell is this love' explosion

Sax Rhomer 1 by the Mountain Goats

got me recently. "I am coming home TO YOU!"
Brrr... Lovely.

^ agree

i was nearly brought ot tears at a bus stop when i first heard that

Introduction off Akuma No Uta

On the cranked PA just hardend my nipples a tad.

Its a toss up between

Rusties mix on radio one and Flying Lotus going back-to-back with Kode 9 on Rinse FM that I tracked down as mp3s last night their are some brilliant tunes on those that I have no idea what they are called but they gave me goosebumps.

Midnight Juggernauts - Shadows (M83 remix) is epic and beautiful.

A place to bury strangers

Ocean - it kicked in as I was on the last approach to home, and all in front of me was empty.

What Sarah Said - Death Cab For Cutie

I was sat alone at a small train station and there was a power cut, leaving me in the dark with "Who's gonna watch you die" repeatedly sung in my ears.

have you imparted that story before?

Or am i having one of my deja vu things?

Obvioulsy you will only be able to answer one of those questions for definite.

I probably have imparted it before

it probably doesn't sound anywhere near as freaky as it was.

cool

I thought I was going a bit crazy.

Frightened Rabbit

Music Now

A song I wish I'd written

The Flames Beyond The Cold Mountain

by Mono, walking home at about 5:30am with the birds singing and the sun just coming up...it was pretty ace.

Paris

by Patrick Wolf

Moments like that

are really what mono are for.

Watched a live in-studio take

of Jeff Buckley doing Hallelujah the other day, pretty incredible to see him holding those high notes at the end for so long and then coming down off them.

This music-on-demand on Virgin Media is pretty addicitive. Followed up Jeff by watching a load of Girls Aloud songs

Girls aloud
