Finally got round to buying this and have been pleasantly surprised. A real big step forward from their first effort. Could well be my favourite album of 2008 thus far....

i agree...

maybe not quite my favourite of the year, but definitely a good one. kinda tails off towards the end a bit.

To be fair

I have not bought anywhere as near as many albums as I would usually have for this time of year as cash is at a all time low. Still need to buy the Why? and Cut Copy albums. So perhaps my mind will change when I do. The fact that it is so much better than I expected is probably the reason I like it so much. Agree with it tailing off at the end though - 'Hand Me Down is the weakest track.

Your right...

comes out on the 12th May but when people always talk about albums on here when they leak I get confused! Personally I can't stand not having the CD and considering the fact I bearly have enough money to afford a pint during the week it is a preference which is very frustrating.

I like most the album

and Love the two songs, Young Love and Two Doors Down. Those two tunes are just excelent tunes.
