I like th forward, russia one alot but I haven't quite got into it massivley yet. I can't remember what else hase come out in April.

portishead for me was 8/10 stuff, so nearly perfect let down by the folk...
M83
Clear winner. 80's nostalgia lus the onset of summer = winner.
Crystal Castles is ace too, though I believ that was released on download aaaaaaaages ago. I hadn't hear dit til the CD though.
Sun Kil Moon sound ace, have to check them out, it's a toss up between getting that or Frightened Rabbit.
People who have both those records, which is best?????

Half Man Half Biscuit is out this week
and is a clear 9/10.
Any album that includes the couplet "I want a sun tan, not Vashti Bunyan" has to be worth a 9 at least.

Jamie Lidell - Jim
clearly needs adding to the list, even if it did only just make it into the month of April. But it's a superb, superb record, and happily trios with M83 and Frightened Rabbit as albums of the month and easy contenders for the year's top 10 in my book.
You get 80's nostalgia from M83, buy Jim and you'll hear the best soul album since the 70's, and made by a skinny nerd at that. What a damn voice....
Sun Kil Moon
was amazing...Gutter Twins pretty good too.
Disappointed by Deus, getting into the Fall, can't afford any more records as atp costs seem to be hitting me from all sides...train fare, return bus, a million quid for lager and cheap whizz...
