arhggghhhh
i won tickets to see him for the itunes festival and was extremely excited (yes good you should go) but fell horribly ill and couldn't go >:(
I've seen him live three times
Once with the full Bad Seeds lineup, twice solo.
I imagine this tour is with the full lineup, right? In which case, prepare for something special.
It's such a wall of noise, the man's such a showman... incredible performer.
i've seen him before
with the Bad Seeds and when he was doing his solo tour thing a couple of years ago.
i was just wondering what his new tour is like. i.e. mostly new stuff or a mix of old and new, etc.
saw him at
royal albert hall about ten years ago and it was stunning if thats any help.
According to the Bad Seeds forum
Setlists of late have included at least 9 songs from Dig..., with every song having been played at least once.
As for older tsuff, various dates have included: Red Right Hand, Tupelo, Deanna, The Ship Song, I Let Love In, Papa Won’t Leave You Henry, Get Ready For Love, Stagger Lee, Far From Me, The Lyre of Orpheus, Wanted Man, Your Funeral My Trial, Straight To You, Into My Arms, Nobody’s Baby Now, Hard On For Love.
Conspicuously absent: The Mercy Seat. Maybe he's just finally sick of playing it?
thats a shame
still, a good number of decent bangers included.
FACT:
Nick plays Red Right Hand at everytime he plays live - with Bad Seeds or solo.
It will be awesome, although I tended to be drawn to Warren rather than Nick when I saw them.
As his albums have become
progressively worse so has he live. Which is a shame. The Let Love In 'era' was his high point for me. Remember how amazing he was at Glastonbury that year?
wanted man!
and hard on!
nice to see them return.
