the drummer from HEALTH was a bit pissed off though. Gld they played Girl Attorney it was such a great way to end a gig.
I'd been listening to the beats on the album and I thought before last night that they must double up on most of the drumming, but he was playing it all on his own, it was insane.
YACHT was ace too, what a great bill.

loads of the stuff on the album's insane though, i can't imagine it being physically possible without two drum kits.. I'm pretty psyched for them in Leeds tonight!

i never got to hear about either tour or i'd have jumped at the chance of putting them both on. likewise with the mae shi tour.
i just get loads of emo/metal bands emailing me for shows instead. :-(

The drummer was great, I also loved the way he seemed permanently angry. He didn't carefully reposition his kit, it all had to be done with a rage fueled shunt! (usually knocking into something else in the process!)
I was really impressed by Health, I've been loving their album lately (after not really clicking with it initially) and live they're turned out to be one of the best bands I've seen recently.
Yacht were a nice surpise as well, I've only heard bits of them before, but they were really entertaining.

YACHT were okay. i don't really see what the woman adds to it though. is she jonah's girlfriend or something? but yeah, they were fine.
HEALTH were brilliant though. the drummer did seem very angry and i wouldn't want to mess with him.
