Leaving blank space on a tape

just uses up batteries fast-forwarding it. So a full 45 mins both sides.

waste of tape. Fill it!


And if you have a gap that;s too short to put an appropriate song in

then clips from story tapes are your friend.


For playlists/mixes

I try to keep them around 50mins long :D


i dunno, like vinyl

the C90 seemed to somehow get it just right

although I am usually quite satisfied with 78 minutes on a CD

If I skew toward 60 mins, then, I am afeared of putting long songs on. so no midsection 8 minute beauty that starts like the section before but segues into something else, let alone mebbe a epic, majestic outro or intro song.
