Recommend me some decent/interesting DIY zines. I remember Reckless Records on Berwick St used to have a few interesting ones, but now that's closed and I have no idea where to look for them on the net.

As ever..........

. MaximumRockNRoll (obvs, Punk Planet was better, but Punk Planet is dead)

. Skyscraper (are we counting this as a zine?) Quarterly and awseome.

.Last Hours

^skyscraper

is ace, I managed to get one sometime before christmas in a Borders in Southampton!
And if I can get it there I imagine any borders can get it?

Yes, I've seen it in Borders in Bmth, Oxford

and London too, so I would have thought so.

i am making a zine this weekend

which will be completely awesome when it's done, + it's free. it's called "i concur!" and all contributions were done on one day. it has the following things in it: me drawing gross things, stephen vs cosmos drawing gross things, a poem, a short story, an article about gentle friendly, gareth campesinos! writing stuff, alxxck writing stuff, and er loads more besides. it's great.

i'll give you one next time i see you out and about. + if anyone else wants one then look out for them if you are in ldn or msg me and ill post you one.

wow

that sounds amazing, thanks! steve's posters are awesome (i have too many of them on my wall) and i like gentle friendly a lot, which makes it doubly good. the other stuff sounds rad too.

i made one ages ago. i really want to do one again, maybe just with the bands we put on/release stuff with. i think that'd be cool.

oh!

you're you

yeah!

hi you too

.

i'll 'ave one!

pm me yr address

OR come and see my band sad shields play in oxford on 28th may at the port mahon and ill give you one there. lol.
