Can someone more informed than me shed some light on this? All I know is that the results are published, showing that the opposition won by about 47% (when it's likely to be a lot higher, but anything under 50% means a second vote).... But Mugabe just doesn't care, or what? Is he just going to keep clinging onto the precidency no matter what happens?

I hail from sunny S.A and we hear more about the election. Its true that The MDC won and has more votes. So initially that would make Morgan Tswangirai president. But Mugabe insists that a recount be done. I think thats just to distract people from a weapons scam that he is busy with. He imported illegal weapons whilst the election was busy.
That old fart must be assasinated. He in any case deserves all the bad things coming his way coz of all the murders he committed!
