Think I probably started the same thread a few weeks ago, but WOW, I just put this on again - any love out there?

amazing
the songwriting is amazing but the production is even better
Every song sounds totally different but yet each one is ACE
Yeah, this!
Um, except Student Demonstration Time...
perfect
summer day tunes. till i die and surf's up still blow me away everytime i hear them
Can't believe you didn't namechack the 3 best songs
Brians run out at the end wins
A Day In The Life Of A Tree
'Til I Die
Surfs Up
Dennis Wilon who by this point was becoming a major contributor to the band protested against the resurrection and completion of the Surfs Up song (in hindsight Carls production was magnificent and its fully justified that he completed the song from Brians fragments). In protested he withdrew his songs from the album San Miguel and 4th July (both available on the Good Vibrations box set). Now think how good the album would have been with tat like Student Demonstration Time and Take A Load Of your Feet replaced by these two songs.
Wow, didn't know that
Though I keep coming back to those four rather than Brian's few... Great tunes though.
Agreed the others are great
Some of the best songs from Al, Carl and Bruce.
Brian delivered, Dennis stuck to his principles.
that only leaves...
...and the fact that
pacific ocean blue is finally getting a re-release is surely one of the highlights of the year
.
I was just checking Amazon to see when it comes out :)
Has anyone got 'Love You'?
Sounds quite good, is it worth a punt?
Definetly
I have every Beach Boys album and related solo releases and of all of them this is my favourite. It's a real glimpse into the mind of Brian Wilson
WOW
This I shall buy. Merci!
You won't be dissapointed
also it's virtually impossible to find but there is an album by Brian and his first wife Marilyn and her sister Diane that dates back to about 1971 called American Spring - American Spring. It is an absolute masterpiece, in fact if you are interested I will try to get a digital version to you as it is just about impossible to find
Just got home and am listening again already
I've been whistling Disney Girls and Lookin' At Tomorrow for the past couple of days...
UPDATE: I ordered Love You, and American Spring sounds awesome, woo!
