The second release in the Broken Social Scene Presents… series will arrive next month, courtesy of Brendan Canning.
Something for All of Us… will be issued in the US by Arts&Crafts on July 22nd and is the follow-up to Kevin Drew’s Spirit If, released last autumn (review).
Drew features on Canning’s turn, along with other BSScenesters and a few names who’ve been made elsewhere – Amy Milan (Stars) , James Shaw (Metric), Liz Powell (Land of Talk) and Liam O’Neil (The Stills).
What better way to end than with a tracklisting:
‘Something for All of Us’
‘Chameleon’
‘Hit the Wall’
‘Snowballs and Icicles’
‘Churches Under the Stairs’
‘Love is New’
‘Antique Bull’
‘All the Best Wooden Toys are Made in Germany’
‘Been at it So Long’
‘Possible Grenade’
‘Take Care, Look Up’
