agreed. i bought goo once. put me off sonic youth for ever. the end.

is a grower. i didnt like it at first, and i love sonic youth muchly. now i do like it. listen to some other sonic youth. or goo more. or just carry on not liking them, but have a niggling sense that you are missing out on something great.

Is the bestest SY album in my opinion - it is a grower, but it turns out it's brilliantly focussed compared to some of their albums, and the songs are fantastic. And it guest features Chuck D on one track! What more could you want?

I know people are a bit down on it because it is a bit easy listening for sonic youth but i think it is great. If you are new to sonic youth it is worth comparing what they are doing now with the albums that are considered holier than holy

then get Daydream nation, sister, experimantal jet set trash and no star, evol and washing machine.
