is really really good. I heard it a while back, and the initial hook is hugely memorable.
I prefer the likes of Amy Winehouse and Duffy to pretty much any British band who've released their debut in the past two or three years.
I couldn't care less if these girls were manufactured or whatever. Pop music is supposed to have melody, and at the moment, I'd even much rather see Girls Aloud than watch, say, the Pyramid Stage on Friday this week.
I'd like more music with melody to dominate the charts, and hopefully we'll see a decline in PUMPING dance tunes (that have been exactly the same since I can remember being alive) and evil, evil student indie.
this week?
this year @ Glasto I mean. Easy mistake to make.
'Tis good, I agree, bit flimsy though...
For me, her best song is Rockferry. It was my song of last year, it's a fookin' tune.
Ant bloody eard it.
I'll make sure I hear her album before Glasterz.
I cant stand her faux taff soul
end of.
You're on your own with that
oh no he's not...
She can certainly sing, and belts them out well but I much prefer Monica Queen or Maria McKee when it comes to that sort of stuff.
and Nancy Sinatra was much better first time round too.
I agree she can sing
but I don't think her songs are any good.
Fine, you can have a threesome them
yay
:)
Room for a littl'un?
Yes i think shes rubbish!!
The more i hear her the less i like her, just because she has a unique voice does not mean that shes any good! She had such potential as well, and then she went and made such a rubbish album.. its like norah jones all over again!!
is that
warwick avenue? good song.
Not really heard any Duffy
and I don't like Amy Winehouse's voice, but otherwise I agree with you.
But then, you *are* on DiS, whose very name was chosen to sound like the Sanskrit "d'rau nti nsau 'nt", or "Girl's Aloud Online", so I'd say you weren't gonna meet too much opposition on this one...
She has such small teeth
