Terrible, terrible music from a band that were good for one a half albums but have been terrible ever since.

Liam's voice is laughable

I'm not hoping for anything special, but I'll bet my life on the fact it'll be four million times better than anything DiS, Pitchfork or the NME have given 8/10+ in the past two years.

We have listened to each song here in the office and feel there is potential in what you do. The drums have a certain Ringoish style to them and certainly the bass playing, at times, is reminiscent of elderly left-hander Paul McCartney. The lead guitar echoes the late George Harrison, and the vocals have, as an undertone, a smattering of the late John Lennon. In fact, if those four had been in a band together, you would sound like a tenth-rate tribute act to them who played only such a band's less-accomplished songs. I have passed on your number to my friends at EasyCruise who, as I'm sure you know, operate cut-price cruises around the Isle Of Man and they would jump at the chance to employ you for a six month stint. In closing, may I recommend beards.

Oasis never really did it for me, minus a few songs.

Not relevant anymore though.

A fairly good debut album (although, it was pretty bad in comparison in to the abundance of incredible rock music that was around at the time), then a moderate sophomore release which yielded a couple of big singles and then..........well over a decade of turgid, plodding, three chord pub rock.

I'll probably get told off for saying this, but they're one of those bands for people who don't really like music, aren't they? Dare I say it, a band for football fans*.

*Yeah. Not DiS style people who happen to follow a football team amongst many and varied other interests, I refer more to boorish, mono-syllabic types who are incapable of grasping the fact that some people aren't bothered about 'footy'.

Those songs are absolutely brilliant... Noel Gallagher is just a friggin' awesome human-being.

It's the same old pub rock bollocks really. Astoundingly dull. "I Wanna Live A Dream (In My Record Machine)" could well be the worst song title I've ever heard.

...as per the last 10 years or so for Oasis.

The new album will still sell a bazillion copies as usual though.

*Actually* - having listened to them again, those songs really are crap. I didn't think they could get more derivavtive, but somehow Noel's managed it. Surely that's worth some sort of congratulations?

these are demos that were recorded a few years ago during the Death In Vegas sessions which were eventually scrapped. I can see why.

Nothing On Me sounds like fourteen previous Oasis songs in one. I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine...I think I knew what the melody for the chorus would be like before I even heard it. Stop The Clocks is okay, but generally quite forgettable. I don't think these give even a vague glimpse of how the new album might sound though; due to when they were recorded. I still have at least a glimmer of hope.
