Yes
Mos def
only if it is supported by two piles of books
Yah.
Are we going to have a shelf-off?
Very Easily
.
not right now dear.
washing your hair?
worlds biggest jugs is about to start on nuts tv.
thank you so much
Did I miss this for Death Cab tonight?
I need to consult the TV guide more often!
probably
Yes, but i'd rather get someone else to do it.
I never have done so
I think so but I'm not really sure. Wouldn't be quite sure where to drill holes.
I suspect the answer is "can I put up a shelf?" Yes.
"Can I put up a shelf that is even so things don't slide off the other end?" No.
Spirit level
drill, plugs and screws, I'm sure you could do it :P
I never have.
I can't imagine it being very difficult, no.
yes
and i own a spirit level.
Easy
I can put up a nice barbwire fence for you too if you like or lay you a nice concrete drive
wheres the sadpunk bloke test when you need it?
i can put up fucking curtains
Something about sticking something up your Fucking Curtains
if my dad
lets me borrow his drill and trusts me to not hit an electric wire.
yep
probably
once in school i made a wooden box with a lock, three compartments and a sliding toolbox style opening mechanism. now i keep my change in it. YEAHHH!!!!
Of course.
I'm a dab hand at DIY.
nope
no.
yes
But last time I did it with the help of a grilfriend. I do however have a chain saw licence. That is about the most manly thing about me other than the obviouse ummm body parts.
YEA!
dont u just love the spunk and tostosterone pouring out of me right now?
Sure u do
<3
I bet you're a dab hand with a drill-bit too.
fuck no.
Fuck yeah
i would be all like,
"yeah i can put up a shelf" then proceed to drill about 20 holes into the wall, then blame the drill for being faulty and give up.
yes.
but i'd need a new bot of wood after hitting _vikram in the face with the first one.
and. i can plumb in a washing machine, had to do it on saturday nightwhich is why i was late for browne and toms party on saturday.
any other diy q's?
^bit
i can put up a shelf
what do i win?
A pair of flat shoes and lunch with Germaine Greer
that's crap
i'll never be helping you with any shelves then
It's a deliberate disincentive.....
your place is in the bedroom.
AHAHAHAHA NO SANDWICH FOR YOU
silly.
Well, obviously....you'd have to walk to the
kitchen for that.
or you could put a mini-kitchen in the bedroom
imagine, cold beers and everything, without even having to get out of bed.
Yeah, but not particularly elegantly.
And I'd need to borrow a drill.
yup
haha, of course not!
I have put up a shelf
I got a spirit level and everything to do it.
However I don't think I used it properly as it slants notably but without slanting so much that it causes books to fall off.
I think it added value to the house before we sold it.
Most people can put up a shelf
but whether they put it up properly is a different thing. I shall be attempting some alcove shelving very soon and don't worry I'll keep you posted.
This could become the highlight of my year
The Biscuit's Home Improvement Show.
Yes.
No!
- you cant codswallop.
