Hey folks, here's an interview I did with RZA of Wu-Tang Clan in Liverpool on Saturday.

Incredibly inspiring, affable and genuinely ace dude:

Oh!

That RZA!

awesome!

..

Nice one, thanks.

He wasn't too complementary about Ghost!

But aside from that, the man was a genuinely great guy, easy-going, ultra-relaxed and accomodating with all the kids around wanting to play him at chess and sign shit.

Classic day.

Good interview

sounds like everyone was having fun.

Was it face-to-face then? It seems like you get more out of those interviews. It's like what he was saying about recording with people, you want to actually be interacting with each other.

aye..

Twas face to face - that's me with him on the front page of the site - I'm properly Ghostface (!) as it was pitch black and obviously his complexion is slightly darker than mine so the flash reduced me to a floating head!

Yeah, face to face is definitely advantageous - he was so chilled and tackled every question without hesitancy. I was surprised he was so forthcoming about the 8 Diagram stuff as he's had to answer questions about Rae and GFace for a good while now.

It was quite difficult to do tho - what with so many fans around, very loud music going down and of course him playing multiple games of chess!

Still great day and his gig at the Picket was legendary.
