Good call.
Yep
Good stuff. Played this for the rush-hour commute the other day. Lovely.
sunny weather
needs the heavy!
Just recently started listening to the Melvins
I love Stoner Witch and Stag.
What I should listen to next?
Well I would
recommend "Gluey Porch Treatments". It rocks.
Gluey Porch Treatments
Ozma
Bullhead
actually, they've never had a bad patch. just about every studio album is brilliant except for Prick, and all the live albums are good too, except stear clear of Colossus Of Destiny unless you're into more experimental noise
Houdini
is an obvious one I know, but isn't it obvious for a reason?
I never
heard Houdini actually. I read an interview with Buzz about how the situation in the studio with Kurt was so fucked up (with him being a junkie and whatnot) that he asked the label to fire him and other stuff. He didn't sound like he was too proud of it so I never picked it up. If I see it cheap somewhere I may get it.
its one of the best
my absolute favourite is maybe Gluey
Cheers, will give all these a go
Im quite into more experimental noise too, so will give that a go once I've checked out the other stuff.
No love for Senile Animal?
Or The Bootlicker? C'mon, guys.
Or Lysol
(aka The Melvins). One solid, 30min slab of pure sludge. Lovely.
Is that
in print? It was Julian Cope's Album of the Month a while back but I could only find it super-high priced on ebay.
