I've just realised Broken Social Scene and Mount Eerie (The Microphones) are playing on the 23rd of May. One in west london, the other in east. I bought the tickets for both. I love them both. Dilemma time...

I think what I'll do
is (because I have 2 BSS tickets, and no company as yet) is ask the lady I've been half seeing recently if she wants to go, if she says naw, I'll flog em - you can have first shout DK - and go to Mt Eerie, as I'm seeing BSS at ATP anyways.

I very nearly did this recently. I was about to click the payment thing for Finch tickets before realising that it was the night of the DiS Mae Shi/JoFo thing.

is that my card got rejected (as the address didn't register for 3 days) so i had ages to realise my mistake. Only realised now cos i thought I'd plan out my movements for the summer a bit better than previous years.

it's just this one is particularly irksome as I really love both artists and I've paid out moolah already.
I guess there's an upside to it all.
ive seen both the microphones
and bss and id prefer to see bss again, as good as the microphones were (it was a good few years back)
aye but
I saw the microphones last year and it was amazing, best london gig I'vebeen to yet (at bush music hall). This will be small and intimate (cafe Oto or summit) an all. Plus I'll have seen probably the same BSS set at ATP 5 days previous.
It's not the worst position to be in, I'd rather be seeing one than neither, and at least I have an upside if this lady turns me down.
