Pretty much that.
there was a thread attempting to solve world hunger
but it quickly deteriorated into calling each other names
it was a really great day.
hang on...
there were loads of shit threads
loads of shit post. loads of shit.

nothing happened
at all. no-one posted between 9am and 5pm

Loads of people accused of being joke profiles
including established posters, showing DiS is collectively losing its mind.
Emmi got plagued by unseen forces.
Copying and pasting large chunks of text into the reply box turned into an epidemic after CG asked everyone to "make the longest post ever".
Lots of complaining about the new DiS layout and more people unable to find their inbox, so they had to post about it a billion times.
Copycat threads galore.
Lots of hate and pre-ATP drama coming to a head before none of it matters in a weeks time.
