In turn both super introspective in a Pinkerton style and slightly whiny* in that Blue way, but additionally borderline non-sensical a la Maladroit from what I've heard so far.
This album is growing on me with every listen, even the 'rap' interludes.
*This is NOT a criticism, I look for that in a Weezer song, without it it would be like Slayer minus the hate.

*BUMP*
Best lyrics since Pinkerton......
some of this is actually on a par with Pinkerton lyrically.
I love the rap interludes.
And the lyrics for 'greatest man that ever lived'.
and Everybody Get Dangerous.
Overall, Weezer win.
