no

well you didnt mention them

it was a bit silly of me though

good call

i dont own any skynard. is that the cool persons way of saying their name?

you surely like cream already?

and thin lizy, obvs and zz top, though maybe a bit cheesey? oooh jeff beck? and on the paul rogers linkage, bad company?

Creedence Clearwater Reviv

Start with the track Born On The Bayou and don't look back.

The Groundhogs were pretty good too - listen to the track Cherry Red.

Oh yes ..

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

nah thin lizzie suck

i have all creams stuff.

their earlier stuff didn't so much

but i'm not a massive fan

Thin Lizzy suck

yet you have all Cream's stuff?

HARRRRUMPHHH

i saw the singer from them at glastonbury once.

i have never witnessed a man win a crowd over so amazingly. noone knew who he was a the start and were all dead bored. by the end noone wanted him to leave

You need

BLUE CHEER. Get Vincebus Eruptum. Proper heavy blooze-sludge.
Then maybe try some Groundhogs.

It kind of is

It's quite slow and heavy. Not metal though, mainly cos metal didn't really exist at the time (68, I think?). It's probably a bit heavier and rawer than the stuff you mentioned, but still worth checking out.

SLADE

ahem

there is only mammatus, no one else matters. may be neu's first record. but definitely nothing else. k? k.

Grand Funk Railroad !!!!

The Guess Who !!!
Cheap Trick !!
Kiss !!

Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!

Faces - A Nods As Good As A Wink To A Blind Horse

assuming you don't have it already. Great pissed in the sun fun feel to that one

Grand Funk

seconded. Get the live album from around 1970. Great stuff.

Are the Rolling Stones too obvious ?

Between 67 and 74 they recorded a string of great rock albums. Off the top of me' head :

Let It Bleed
Beggars Banquet
Exile On Main Street
Goats Head Soup
Its Only Rock'n'Roll

go for

The Band and Big Star

both brilliant

Sticky Fingers!

You can't leave the peerless Sticky Fingers off a Stones golden era list.

CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL.

Seriously, they're like an infection once you get into them.

SO many 'tunes'.

Get their main hits. You'll have heard them all.

Down On The Corner
Proud Mary
Fortunate Son
Bad Moon Rising

Its music that gives you an absolute BUZZ if you listen loud and in good spirits.

No - get the albums not just the hits !

There's a lot of good stuff there and precious little filler

blues creation

late 60's japanese sabbath worshippers. and stuff like may blitz, writing on the wall, randy holden (former guitarist of the aforementioned blue cheer), pink fairies, hawkwind's "space ritual", the groundhogs, josefus, edgar broughton band, high tide etctera etcetra ....

Aerosmith

ftw. Buy the red greatest hits one. Tis 10/10 good.

Tell me you're joking.

'I don't want to miss a thing'.

?

No.

Not at all

The line you doth quote is from the reformed, drugless and shite version of a once great band.

Wrighty plz check out this

from their last good album. Draw the Line live, it's spectacular!
