Robot Vs Dinosaur will be returning to Island Bar, Birmingham on Friday 16th May. As well as our usual brain-bothering DJ selection of ultra-eclectic electronica, we'll also be hosting live sets from the cream of the UK's electronic underground.

London's Datassette will be assembling some complex techno constructs, heavily informed by businessfunk and the good old days of 8-bit computing. Meanwhile, Nottingham-based Lone's delicately crafted, hip-hop-tinged melodies could almost be the missing link between Warp records favourites Prefuse 73 and Boards of Canada!

We'll also have DJs on hand, playing everything from Brian Eno to Venetian Snares 'til the small hours.

Entry is £3, or £1 if dressed as a robot or dinosaur! Doors open at 8:30. Free pin badge on entry, massive cocktail selection available.
