It's one of my haunts, sadly.
The beer's actually not that bad, surprisingly better than places that charge a lot more nearby. They do a happy hour, i'm not sure exactly when, but we seem to catch it, so i'm guessing it's weekdays, 5-6 maybe, all pints £1.50. Quite a mix of people aswell, loads of moshers, some students, some office workers, bands on their way/back from gigs, a couple of scallys, quite a few dropouts, i like it, all pubs should be like that, rank but nice, if you get my drift.

i spent alot of my underage
drinking days in FAB in manchester, like 16/17...havent been there in fucking aaaaaaaages though. i used to go vinyl exchange, then sit in the corner with a cider and order yorkshire pudding with mashed potato and sausages for like £3 or something, whilst listening to promos of no-mark bands.
it was always good because me and our mates had the whole nerdy student appearance (blazer, band t shirt, rip jeans and converse) whereas guys who were blatantly older got chucked out for not having id.
