Yeah, I can make up my own yarn as to the origin of Comrade_Penguin- I'll need 5-10 as well.

Penguins have been a life long thing. Always loved them. I suppose it is because when on their own, in the water they're graceful, flowing, built for purpose. However get them on land and they're awkward, stumbling and yet still get together in a large group and muddle through. And that was me as a kid, confident on my own, rubbish with people, wanting more friends but not if I had to loose my awkward, stumbling style. I liked that part of me.

The rest of it is fairly simple. A brief fascination with communism as many young teenage boy have and I designed the character as a mascot for an electric car we were building. During a particularly dull biology lesson I also managed to craft his sidekick Firework Tortoise, whose mobility problems were overcome by strapping a gunpowder based entertainment device to his back.

After a particularly painful early teen break up I locked myself in a room and designed a simple vertical scrolling space shooter where CP used FT as a boomerang to kill Capitalist Pigs (naturally) and eventually faced the devil in a McDonald's (Tm) belly top. Sadly I think all this has been lost to a long dead hard drive.
