...

I do a few accumulators every weekend, but haven't bothered the last 2 weeks cos at the end of the season it just gets a bit silly, good teams don't turn up, relegation-threated teams work wonders.

Who do you fancy for the drop tomorrow?

yeah..

it's pretty hard judging scores in the latter stages of the season. think fulham & reading will go down. birmingham to stay up.

...

fulham to stay up for me.

Brum cunts can fuck off.

I hope Fulham stay up..

but can't see it happening to be honest. Think Brum at home to Blackburn wil get 3 points. Reading could bottle at Derby, and Fulham going to Pompey is gonna be really tough for them.

Birmingham are also 9-2 to stay up, so could be worth a cheeky tenner if you've got it.

9-2!!!

Second bottom, terrible form, against a blackburn team that won't role over, team ahead of them have to paly Derby and a Cup Final going Pompey.

And their 9-2! stick £20 on it, because although I reckon they won't do it, there more likely than those odds.

Blackburn

have nothing to pay for, and can definitely see Birmingham getting something.

As you say, depends on the other results, but worth a punt no doubt.

Go for it.

might pop to la books and see if theres any interesting specials, but think I'll stay clear until Sept.

For end of season inconsistency in April/May, see failing to live up to expectations in August.

I had a couple of winners last week, for the first time in AGES.

I normally study the tables and form, but the last couple of weeks i've not had time, so i just picked six teams at random and they all won, think it was Fulham, Northampton & Dagenham on one bet and West Brom, Bordeaux & Monchengladbach on the other. I had a tenner on Chelsea/Liverpool finishing 1-1 aswell. I normally have two £5 trebles on the weekend and they rarely come in, probably about once every couple of months or so, but providing you pick teams with good odds you'll generally get 8-10x your stake. Palace look like a good enough bet today at 4/5. At this time of the season i generally go for the teams that need to win, although it doesn't always work. Today i fancy Palace, Kalmar, Basel, Fenerbahce & Fiorentina, but they're all pretty hard to call and i wouldn't be surpised if some of them don't win. Some European leagues are quite hard to predict, especially the Italian, Spanish & Turkish, so i'll probably just go Palace, Kalmar, Basel.

Tomorrow's a bit dodgy, too, imo. Teams need to win but i'm not sure they will. I'm certain people will be piling money on Fulham, and to a lesser extent Birmingham & Reading to win, i'm not sure any of them will. I'll probably back a couple of longshots tomorrow, Pompey to beat Fulham at 12/5, City to beat Boro at 11/4. Not a good weekend for a bet really. The best market's probably the goalscorers. You can normall get 5/6 or similar on players like Ronaldo to score at any point during a game, so if you pick two, say him & Santa Cruz you tend to win.

..

I've a feeling for Walcott to get a goal tomorrow up at the Mackems,

My normal bet is £3 on a four/five timer on the long list.

Then £1 on the sections and mini sections each and then £2 on the spread of how many goals there'll be in the game.

Think you're right about goal scorers and I'd pick Stepover cunt, Fat Frank (pen), and Theo. Theo will be big odds, over the game at least 4's so I'd say that would give odds of at least 16's.

Twee: do reckon the table is gonna be pretty much as is now?

Well i think United will win tomorrow, so the top two will be as is. Everton should get the point they need against Newcastle, i think City might jump over Portsmouth into 8th, but i think everything else will stay the same, with the three teams in it at the bottom all failing to win, maybe?
