How many people are actually bothering to go out out tonight? It's so bloody humid I'd much prefer sitting around with a nice cold cider mmmm. So who has alternative summery evening plans here?

I'm sitting in my garden,

on a hammocky-type swing, with a pint, listening to Morcheeba with Adagio for Strings next on my playlist.

I am not moving until the sun goes down.

I bought cider

thinking it was going to be nice, but it has been pretty crap up here today and although it is warm it is overcast, Still going to drink the cider...

Haven't you had the storms in Manchester?

1pm-4pm was basically continuous huge rain here.

I'm going to a party. And hopefully not going out afterwards, cos I'll end up getting beat up.

No

its just been unbearably humid but no sunshine. On the plus side, it prevented me from burning again today

nope.

im 17 and live in the sticks.
its not as if i have a choice. none of the country folk are having church barbecues tonight either.

SAME

except for the 17 bit.

staying in

with my brother and watching a film and possibly drinking a couple of white russians

hehe

I'm just imagining you both picking up plastic cups which are in the shape of you and drinking from them.

:D

i'm going to afterskool

a bad idea, i think. i'd probably rather sit outside by the canal.

im going

out to a "club". maybe to see the octopus project, or maybe to sit outside the venue with a cider.

can't believe

thatnobody's picked up on the indeliberate innuendo there.

i might make myself unpopular saying this, but i bloody hate this weather.

Drugs and sunshine

in platt fields park. See, Rusholme/Moss Side can be nice sometimes.

It's pretty nice here

apart from the damn mozzies. I love being at home.
