Would you agree that this programme's fanbase and coining of phrases like this is partly responsible for it not being really really good?

- Not EVERYONE who likes it is an INDIE wanker

but

- Every INDIE wanker likes The Mighty Boosh

that last series

yes yes yes

^this

pure fucking brilliantcec

The third series, apart from a few moments of genuine wit

had entirely jumped the shark.

It was the band cameos that did it for me. In the second series they were very tongue-in-cheek about the whole scenester/hipster thing, and when Razorlight came on it made sense to poke fun at them for being so derivative. Noel Fielding, too, for all his ridiculously fashionable attire, always came across as being a nice guy who never took it that seriously, and even if he did seem a twat Julian was there to counter it.

But in the third series, they seemed to embrace their whole "Shoreditch Heroes" tags, and start laughing with the idiots, not at them. Even Julian joined in. So disappointing.

i can only imagine that

boosh hq is entirely like the sugarape offices

Haha

Nail on the heed.

Nah, it's shitty and childish and silly

Genuinely funny moments are few and far between, lost in a haze of ironic stupidity.

^this

Completely.

No

it might be the reason you're not inclined to *think* it's really really good, maybe.

i wonder what camp i'm in

the people i know who are obssesive about it are mostly girls who aren't INDIE wankers.

I'm an indie wanker and I don't like the boosh

I lke other zany and wild stuff though.

well i'm seeing them in october.

i'm hoping it will be a step ABOVE their season 3 efforts. which was disappointing!
