Maybe he is. But he seems to be on the cutting edge of a lot of shite music too. I listen to radio 1 when I make my dinner, than is all, not for the music, just for some sort of sound to help me pass the time.

he talks too fast, asks bands/artists too many questions in one go, he name drops, sucks up . . . I could go on. I sometimes listen to Colin Murray, he's ok. I prefer 6 Music. I quite like Dermot O'Leary on Radio 2.

I haven't listened to a music playing radio station in ages, I just have Radio 5 on in the car if I'm not listening to CDs.
The thing is I don't really see what radio could do for me anymore, I imagine there's a lot of shite to wade through before finding something worth listening to.

80% of the population of the target age think that Radio 1 is the shitnits, because of the precise reasons that everyone has stated above.

Zane Lowe was allright when he started but has become a laughing stock to those who are more in the know. I think he has a finely picked playlist but pretends it is more organic than it really is.

Everyone else is bollocks. Though, Scott Mills' Wonderyears on a Friday is sometimes a pretty good blast from the past.

I listen to Radio 2 (for Jeremy Vine) and Radio 5Live (for Mark Kermode).

6Music, Radio 4 and Radio 2 are the BBC stations I listen to.

i was waking up to Kings Lynn's KLFM (#a-ha / a-ha a-ha#) for a while but my iPod stereo thingy has superseded that.

i like 6music generally. there's very little on there that i dislike so much that i'll switch over.

I quite like Chris Moyles at breakfast, unless Johnnie Walker is covering for Wogan. Johnnie Walker is great.
