a bunch of young hoodlums...

exerting there cuntish nature on an unsuspecting public. As is the typical gesture of youths.

The controversy arose though the nationality of the main players...2 black lads, three eastern European.
The director obviously hasn't taken a very progressive attitude to his casting.

BUT
Having said that...the video raised some questions. Mainly...why is this director getting away with such evident controversy courting? Maybe that's the point.

Maybe every music video director is getting away with ramming a serrated blade up the lady arse of our own perceptions. Maybe I'm tired and lonely.

Maybe.

Or, maybe not.

It's sort of pointing out that the media in France is constantly showing videos of black or east african descent commiting violence. It doesn't seem to make a judgement on them, which is where the controversy arises. They don't get their "comeuppance" as it were.
The voice at the end of the video says something like "you like to film that then, son of a bitch?"

That said, it's very much taking ideas from Aphex Twin's Come To Daddy and Prodigy's discarded Hot Ride video.
Which isn't a bad thing. Both are excellent, and so is the Stress video.

I'd agree with this

I think the peoples are feared of other uncouth youths copying it as well, which would probably not be good.

Its quite uncomfortable viewing.

Popjustice have it linked to on their news page.

Makes that Prodigy video look like Mary Poppins
