not really arsed about Battles but Dirty Projectors are always good live and I'm curious to see Fuck Buttons.

are quite hard work I thought. Sadpunk beautifully described it as watching two people play chess.
Admittedly thats chess with endless loops of white noise and vocals like a warthog being rectally interfered with.
when i saw them
i found myself totally immersed in their sound with no effort whatsoever.
not sure how the astoria will treat them though.

Dirty Projectors were amazing on Friday night - if you've heard the (original) Daytrotter session you know what your in for.
I saw them
warm up for Final Fantasy and it was the most excited id been about hearing someone for the first time, in a long time.
Even bought a CD on my way out, which is unheard of.
Do you think there is any chance
that Battles won't play Atlas?
I really wouldn't like that.
