My number one favourite uni achievement was getting 82 for an essay on John Rawls. It was one of those really broad 'we dare you to be out there' questions mind! I ended up writing half of the thing on Lyotard and Levi-Strauss.
I chucked a bit of Rawls into my dissertation, and my tutors were not impressed. One even called him a drug-toting so-and-so, which I thought was wholly unacademic, unprofessional and therefore funny.
My top mark is 94% on an exam — which is pretty darn sexy. Essay wise, my top mark is 74%, which was about heterodox economics.
I have no idea how my Open University marks relate to conventional uni marks. Its obviously on the same scale but something tells me it must be a bit easier, and it is only my 1st year. In my second year I will probably get about 2 for everything.
DiS High Five!

The only time I ever got more than 70 was my first every University essay on Descartes. 72...not bad for a politics student.

To be honest, that's pretty ridiculous for an honours essay but I'm not complaining.
